Fire & Fury & Murdoch & Trump

I don't think it's any secret that Rupert Murdoch and Donald Trump have a bit of friction between them.
That's why I wondered why Michael Wolff, (who wrote a book about Rupert Murdoch and had access to Murdoch's staff and family) wrote this astonishing book about Trump? How in the world did he get access?
It's no secret that Murdoch and Trump run in the same circles.
Ivanka was very good friends with Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng. The Murdoch's attended Ivanka and Jared's wedding  Jared Kushner, is close to Murdoch. they talk to each other weekly. Could Kushner have anything to do with Wolff having been given carte blanche at the White House? If they are that close, wouldn't they have been aware of Wolff's work?
Trump and Murdoch have a lot in common, they both inherited fortunes and went to military school.
Murdoch and Trump also seem to have some profound differences, one being immigration, and if this Fire & Fury book has any truth to it, Murdoch has called Trump a f*%$ing idiot over immigration. He has also called Trump "embarrassing" and "wrong" and it's been rumored that Murdoch had asked the late Roger Ailes to "stop promoting Trump so heavily" on Fox News.
According to Tina Brown (Former CEO of the Daily Beast) Murdoch "will throw Trump under the bus when he's no longer useful."
If, Trump is not towing the line that Murdoch thinks Trump should, I am wondering if he would back someone like Michael Wolff and this book? Could it have even been his suggestion?
                                                                                       Is that how he
Credit NY magazine
gained access to Trump and the White House? Because it's not lost on me that there's a connection between Wolff and Murdoch. Is it possible that these people in the White House just don't read so they were unaware of Wolff?
During the presidential campaign, Murdoch initially, was a Jeb Bush fan, being the globalists they both are, that's not surprising. I can't think of a more useful idiot.
Murdoch has privately called Trump "phony" Trump threatened to sue Murdoch (surprise) over a New York Post story. (Murdoch owns the Post) It's also been reported that Murdoch pushed Trump to fire Steve Bannon.
Once upon a time Murdoch was friends, very good friends with Tony Blair, such good friends that Tony Blair is godfather to one of Murdochs children. There were also some very strange rumors that Tony Blair and Murdoch's then wife, were having an affair. Now the Murdoch's and Blair's no longer have any contact.
Murdoch is a person who likes useful idiots.
So why this book? Why now?
Is Trump no longer useful and this is part of some kind of takedown of Trump? Will it even matter?
Is this all just some distraction that will be forgotten about, once Donald Trump starts tweeting about the big button on his desk again?

And just what is this Orwellian, Wizard of Oz thing that's going on here? This was just another example of the White House creep factor. The president is in a room right next door, and he can't come out and speak his mind? He's never had a problem with that before. Is he a hostage somewhere in Michael Wolff's basement?  I am really glad I don't vote anymore. If this is what you get. I never even watched The Apprentice, let alone something like this. Huckabee might as well be on The Walking Dead. She acts like this is normal, like a good zombie. Another useful idiot.

  1. Been reading the book and I thought about this. Wolff relates one story in which a phone conversation takes place between Trump and Murdoch. After Trump hangs up, Murdoch is said to call Trump a name with an expletive in it.

Now, how would Wolff know that? Presumably, only Murdoch would know that... maybe someone in the room with Murdoch. But it seems like this would have to have come from Murdoch.

So many circular firing squads these days...

  2. You can already tell, I have my suspicions about this book and who may have backed it. I am no fan of Trump, but this reeks of a smear campaign. It is strange to read headlines that say this book is going to take Trump down. Maybe Wolff is some kind of Bernstein and Woodward? We all know it's the cover-up that bit Nixon on the ass. This is going to be a matter of when Trump is no longer useful to the GOP. As long as he cooperates with corporate billionaires, all this is going nowhere. We all know Mueller threw the 9/11 investigation, so I don't hold out much hope that much will happen there.
