I was out to dinner last night, when I got a text about the NYT op-ed.
We didn't talk about it much except for the identity of the anon was?
Who put it out there?
Twitter was trending; Lodestar@VP Pence.
Because a word Pence seems to enjoy using, was included in the op-ed.

In the meantime, no one seems to think maybe there's has been a soft coup going on, for quite some time.
That an elected official (if he even was elected, legitimately) has been sabotaged.
All that is A-OK.
Americans have very short memories, if they have any at all.
We had a demented leader before named Ronald Reagan, who's wife and various other cabinet officials covered for him and ran the White House.
During the deranged Nixon years the same has happened.
So who in their right mind is under any illusion that we are a democracy?
Because it's clear we aren't and haven't been, for a long time.
My take on this, is that Trump was useful, as far as getting the Supreme Court stacked, now with Kavanaugh.
Trump has outlived his usefulness.
I don't think it's any accident that we were barraged with the Woodward book telling us Trump's military ministers think he's a moron and then this NYT op-ed comes out.
The stage has been set and now the circus will play out, as we watch Trump flail around.
Notice, simultaneously, an announcement was made that North Korea agreed to a third summit and wanted to denuclearize during Trumps first term.
The timing of this means, no one is sure if there will be another term now, also, it would probably be the one thing Trump was able to do, if indeed he had any influence on this at all.
Because we have no idea, when the cabal inside the White House took over and began detouring paperwork.
My whole premise is Trump is known for not reading briefings or anything, so it's doubtful he would know of any missing paperwork.
If it's not on Fox News, during his "Executive Time" (read goofing off) he probably doesn't know about it. Like every American that voted for him.
Trump will call Woodward's book fake news and the NYT op-ed, fake news.
I just call it convenient news, that now they want us to know Trump is bong controlled and we can all sleep well.
Notice, no Republican is saying anything about Trump and his "leadership skills" unless, they are on the way out.
Everyone want's something and Trump is a means to an end. Especially when it comes to ratings and the MSM.
Because really, what will be the outcome of this 'bombshell" NYT op-ed piece?
What is going to change?
We have a ridiculous, supposedly two party system and year after year, decade after decade, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. They don't give a damn about the American people. They keep us divided voting for one party, then another, in the futile hope that something will change.
So, it's a delicious whodunnit.
Who wrote the NYT op-ed piece?
Why now? Right before the elections?
Is there a man behind the curtain?
Is this a collapse of Trump's presidency?
Or will it just bumble on with tax cuts for the uber rich, degrading the environment, a robust military, that bankrupts the country.
IF this NYT piece is true, then there's no doubt that there is a shadow government.
It's not the resistance and it's not resisting anything.
Hey Patricia, wassup? Coincidence, I was at dinner myself the other night with a daughter of mine and her husband, great Italian joint too, I may add. But this also was brought up by my daughter, Liberty, as far as this NYT piece and "who" said/ wrote this. She was surprised that I knew not a thing about this, because I blog about some political stuff too. I didnt follow it though, I mean, just when I turn on the tele news, I am saturated with this nonsense ad these little childish bitch fights ("bitch" not in reference to female gender, I just call these petty fights such) between these millionaires and billionaires. I actually dont follow this twitter stuff or most ... I loathe even listening to these wealthy parasites at that, in large part. Frankly, as inhumane as this may sound, I wouldnt give a shit if they killed each other, or they got knocked off (I'm just being honest), and many deserve nothing less than death. These people to me are a waste, and out of touch with so many people and the reality of America, at least the America, that most of us experience. I never expected Trump to be like this, being that he was such a popular pop- culture person prior to his entering politics, even was friends with liberals, well, so called liberals, and had a tele reality show of some sort, that was popular, I tried to watch his show once years back, but I guess it was a little too slow for me, I got bored. I mean, I couldnt picture this guy as some right wing type, christian values type or whatever, I'm not even sure that he is really any of this. I think he just ran for President, to add it to his resume for one ... but to especially build his international empire for his familia too. He been in a position to make alot of business. I even heard Jared has some shit going on in other countries, where they are building new high rise residential developments, and selling the units with the "Trump" name/ trademark at really jacked up prices. As far as America, and the definition of democracy ... I think that many folks feel the same as you Patricia, but are hesitant to talk about it, people dont enjoy accepting reality, but what you say is straight, this is at most, a "so- so" democracy ... the more money you have I guess, the more democratic it is for you. I mean, I dont look at it as a solid "democracy", it's currently more like an oligarchy, just another thing, like what is "freedom" and what is free or freer, I guess ... I have no problem with viewing reality for what it is, I do not like to lie to myself, regardless of how painful it may be. I have lost much respect for many who run this country, and some I view as an enemy, period. You are so right on the military spending and actions too ... it is so out of whack ... I mean, we no longer are defending the people of this country, only the corporate interests. I'm very pro- defense I want to add, and I am even armed well, and very supportive of defense, as much as any right- winger even. But what we have is corporate nonsense, I would actually probably support even a military coup, if it came down to it, in our own country. Much of our military intervention globally, I am opposed to. I am not opposed to way, because I look at, if someone was to attack us, I would support attacking back, with just as much force as Trump talks, my objective in conflict/ defense when under attack is to eliminate the threat, whatever it take to do it. I dont blame our young men and women in these interventions, they are taking orders that they accepted in an oath. Many of our volunteers, such as my niece and nephews, simply joined to further their education and get a paycheck. these corporations keep our young desperate, whether it's on student loans, jobs or whatever, to force them into these situations to advance the wealthy, they use all of us, not just our children, the same with our economies and wages to our credit standings that they manipulate. ReplyDeleteSorry, I;ve been a bit busy, but isn't it funny how no one talks about this op-ed anymore and all Trump's threats to find out whodunnit, ended up with nada! Lol. As far as Trump, most people who have had dealings with him in the casino industry, the people in the trades have been ripped off by Trump and I did blog about his discount in taxes he got for the state of NJ, he's a shyster. But even then, I bet everyone from South Jersey voted for him. It doesn't matter who the person is. They only vote republican, so there you have it. MAGA!
