A week after Pence was put in charge, he hired Michael Flynn.
Pence defended Michael Flynn, on TV. I am only guessing maybe Jesus told him to keep covering for Flynn. What he did, was become a willing accomplice in crimes against the people of the U.S.
It is conceivable that Pence will go down, just like Spiro Agnew did, all those years ago.
Mueller's filing, suggests that Pence was doing everything he could, to cover for Flynn's crimes.
For someone who's so damn religious. he sure does a lot of lying.
Will Pence be held accountable for any of this?
In light of the news of Cohen (remember, he was head Finance Director of the RNC) being implicated with the Russian Trump Tower deal, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, don't forget, Trump wrote a press release about the Moscow Meeting, that Cohen was illegally, coordinating perjury regarding that meeting.

One of the most amazing and baffling things that happened over the Thanksgiving holiday was the news of a self-proclaimed adventurer, Jesus freak, John Chau and his delusional invasion of what he called "Satan's Last Stronghold" the North Sentinel Island, home to an indigenous tribe of people, which is off limits and illegal to enter, yet this did not stop John Chau.
The pathogens he could have exposed the people who lived on this island to, was of no concern to him. He offered gifts of scissors and safety pins and a soccer ball, along with his germs.
This seriously insane act, really was reminiscent of the Puritans and their pathogens wiping out Native American tribes and invading Native American land.
No one in Europe wanted these religious freaks. So what is the legacy of all this?
Someone like John Chau.
When I first heard about this selfish act, I went on John Chau's Instagram and his insta was pretty much a gold mine.
This dude lead an itinerant lifestyle, he lived in a cabin in Whiskeytown, California, on federal park land, which was probably pretty cheap, if not free. However, that avenue of an abode was cut off from him because of the Carr Fire. I don't know if not having this place to go back to made this guy go for broke, I do wonder if it was a factor?
John Chau was a graduate of Oral Roberts University. He majored in sports science. He was a volunteer and a director of a non-profit called More Than A Game, teaching soccer to refugee children in Tulsa Oklahoma.. (One of his 'gifts" to the Sentinelese was a soccer ball) I don't know where the money came from to teach refugee's soccer? But it was enough to send Chau on trips to Iraq and South Africa teaching Syrian and Iraq children the game.
That's just great, we ruin their countries with our senseless wars and then these christian non-profit's go in and play soccer with the kids who's lives have been destroyed.
So, it's little wonder to me that John Chau may have been trying to co-opt the Sentinelese people into some kind of 'Kingdom of Jesus" outreach program, (doesn't sound too much like Jim Jones, right?) where he could be director of sports or some such, for the Sentinelese soccer team he would develop. Because, Jesus said so.
What I tried to find out was, who was supporting this mission? Was there a branch of the Christian community providing financing and any other support for John Chau to take his bible and safety pins to Sentinel Island?
The only organization I could find was All Nations, a Kansas City based organization, who, "helped train Chau, discussed the risks with him and sent him on the mission, to support him in his "life's calling,"
The woman's name is Mary Ho, she is also responsible for this debacle and should be accountable. "He wanted to have a long-term relationship, and if possible, to be accepted by them and live amongst them," she said."
So, just to get this straight, the religious zealot named John Chau, was aided and abetted by Mary Ho and All Nations.
Yet no one has stepped up to say take responsibility in this senseless tragedy.
Why?
Why do these so-called Christian people who are all about sin and redemption, not take some responsibility for this, when they did everything they could to sustain and encourage this lunacy? These bible thumpers, who have taken over the US, with their restrictions on abortion and birth control, trying to dictate what people can and can't do with their lives. They have nothing to say about a dude who could have wiped out an entire tribe of indigenous people who wanted no part of this.
What I suspect, especially because of the silence from any Christian authority, is that had Chau succeeded with his plan to establish the "kingdom", that they would have co-opted the Sentinelese people into a non profit, NGO scheme, as employment opportunities for people like Chau and his ilk, or exploit any resources they may have. This is what happens when we invade a country or an island in the name of religion or "democracy"

But the Sentinelese people weren't having it. They had been exposed almost a century before, to a degenerate white dude named Portman, who treated them like specimens and was doing creepy things like measuring their penis.' They obviously remember this experience and want nothing to do with whitey or his Jesus bible B.S.
Just to be clear, Chau had been planning to take advantage of these people since 2016, it's all there in his Instagram and his trips to the Andaman Islands, which is where the fisherman he bribed to take him to North Sentinel Island, came from. This wasn't anything new. Now all kinds of resources are being used to get back Chau's remains. Probably more than anything to try and stop any pathogens from contaminating the people of Sentinel Island. All Nations should be charged for this and there should also be criminal charges.
The last I heard from the Boston Globe's Twitter feed is the Sentinelese are having a confrontation with authorities trying to recover Chau's body. I just hope this can be resolved peacefully.
Weirdly, over Thanksgiving, people were talking about this incident, but no one was making a connection to our own country and what happened to the Native American people living here. It's like no one even knows how Thanksgiving came to be? All they know is there's going to be turkey.

I was not disappointed to learn it was Manchin (D-W.Va) I am guessing he's got some kind of pressure from coal miners (bribes from lobbies, lol) to vote for Kavanaugh and tow the Republican line so he can enjoy all the EPA rollbacks and pollute his state even more.

I am telling you, there is an epidemic of women who have been assaulted, harassed, raped, traumatized, because our culture has normalized and covered up this psychopathic behavior.
My hope is that more and more women come forward and keep up the pressure.

I have actually had some conversations with people who don't think Kavanaugh will be approved. Especially, since the second accuser came out.
These people don't vote.
The people who voted for Trump are hiding under a rock somewhere. Probably wondering what woman, they forced themselves on at some point.
Nothing would surprise me.
I told them the only way Kavanaugh wouldn't get pushed through, is if he actually withdrew.
However, if Christine Blasey Ford's story is true, Kavanaugh has proven he has a hard time dialing back from his poor choices.
With this army of GOP and fake Democrat grandstanders, who have nothing to lose, and kickbacks and bribes to keep them filthy rich. They have everything to gain.
The excuse that "boys will be boys" has happened before, with Judge Thomas and the Anita Hill hearings, where Joe Biden refused to call Anita Hill's witnesses when he was Democratic co-chair.
So I am not holding my breath for anyone, especially Kavanaugh to have any sense of right or wrong, or God forbid any sense of decency or shame. It's just business as usual.
Because nothing matters anymore.

I don't think it's any accident that we were barraged with the Woodward book telling us Trump's military ministers think he's a moron and then this NYT op-ed comes out.
The stage has been set and now the circus will play out, as we watch Trump flail around.
Notice, simultaneously, an announcement was made that North Korea agreed to a third summit and wanted to denuclearize during Trumps first term.
The timing of this means, no one is sure if there will be another term now, also, it would probably be the one thing Trump was able to do, if indeed he had any influence on this at all.
Because we have no idea, when the cabal inside the White House took over and began detouring paperwork.
My whole premise is Trump is known for not reading briefings or anything, so it's doubtful he would know of any missing paperwork.
If it's not on Fox News, during his "Executive Time" (read goofing off) he probably doesn't know about it. Like every American that voted for him.
Trump will call Woodward's book fake news and the NYT op-ed, fake news.
I just call it convenient news, that now they want us to know Trump is bong controlled and we can all sleep well.
Notice, no Republican is saying anything about Trump and his "leadership skills" unless, they are on the way out.

On the heels of the American sexual abuse scandal, by Catholic priests, in Pennsylvania. Followed by an expose in Buzzfeed about the horrendous torture and abuse children suffered in Catholic orphanages, I am surprised this pointy hat wearing dude thinks he's welcome anywhere.
Because I have personal knowledge of what went on in an orphanage in Brooklyn, over 100 years ago.
My grandmothers parents came over in the late 1800's from Ireland, hoping for a better life.
What could possibly go wrong?
My great grandparents pro-created like good Catholics should, and tried to eke out a sort of existence in Brooklyn, where the Irish weren't wanted.
My grandmother was the seventh daughter, of a seventh daughter.
It turns out, my poverty stricken great grand parents, could not afford to keep my

grandmother, and they gave her to a Catholic orphanage in Brooklyn.
I don't know what the name of it was or if any of her other brothers and sisters were given away, because my Nana never mentioned any siblings there with her. This was the start of her trauma filled childhood, where she was expected to work for her keep, scrubbing floors and cleaning and being physically abused.
She never mentioned any sexual abuse.
I doubt she would ever speak of such a thing.
She did tell us that she scrubbed floors until her fingers bled. She would cry often about her treatment by the nuns. Up until she was very elderly, her childhood experiences affected her. In turn it affected us.
Because it's traumatic for children to hear of this kind of abuse, that happened to a beloved grandmother.
Then you are rounded up and expected to give thanks and be a good Catholic every Sunday.
My Nana, isn't here to see how the church has been exposed for it's atrocities. So, I will bear witness for her. She is just one of many. I will never truly know the entire story of what happened to her.
To have to suffer, well into your old age because of the trauma my Nana endured, is just heartbreaking. For all I know, she saw children thrown out of windows, like in the Buzzfeed piece above. She probably saw a lot and was told by her abusers not to say anything.
After all, who would believe her?
After my Nana, at the turn of the century, we get to the swinging 60's.
My story with the Catholic church begins.
Corporal punishment was doled out liberally both at school and at home. Nuns really liked using rulers, and they used them on me, for any kind of infraction. My parents didn't care and when the notes from the nuns started coming home about my not being able to learn like other students, well let the beatings begin.
So, I would get it from both fronts. The nuns and at home.
Every note, another beating. Every Sunday go to church.
When you could barely sit down from the punishment you got from the dreaded nuns notes.
There was no such thing as a learning disability in those days. You were just being lazy.
After a year of this torture, the nuns at the Catholic school, ironically, it was called, St. Francis, my mother told me the nuns no longer wanted me there, and I had to be enrolled in public school.
Sadly, it would not be until I went to college and studied art, to have my first positive experience in education. I hated school my whole young life. I didn't even think I was smart enough for college for a long time.
I graduated with honors, no thanks to my first grade abusers. (The abuse didn't end there, but that is for another blog)
Through the years, we were marched to the Catholic church I hated.
Forced to confess our sins, trying to sit still, in those uncomfortable pews.
Until one Sunday, a funny thing happened.
My Dad didn't go up and take communion!
I was in a state of shock!
When I asked my mother, she told me my Dad was "not in a state of grace."
This was very big news, how could that be?
I'll tell you how, because I pestered my mother to explain why Dad could shun communion, but the rest of us had to play along with this whole charade.
She finally had to break down and tell me that my Dad, or the both of them, (not sure which ) was using birth control.
They had 5 kids.
It's not like today, when you plan your pregnancies. (if you have any sort of intelligence)
You just kept churning out babies back then, like you were going to need a bunch of kids working as farm hands. Which is what happened in my family.
My Aunt and my Mom were in some kind of baby making competition, each of them having 5 and one year the babies were born one day apart. But, I digress.
My parents were already finding it hard to go along with these ridiculous medieval rules.
That day, I found out a few things.
There was such a thing as birth control and I could set myself free of the Catholic church.
I told my Mom I was never going back there and I never did.
I was fourteen years old, and well on my way to being the family scandal, scapegoat, whatever you want to call it.
Fast forward, to 2005, my mother had passed away in 2003, and my Dad was ready to remarry.
Oddly enough, he didn't get remarried in the Catholic church he forced us all to go to.
My sister was so scandalized, I guess out of some weird Catholic catechism dogma, she thought Dad was disrespecting mom by remarrying so quick, she cried and carried on to no avail.
Dad had found a new religion and left Catholicism behind.
His new wife was Lutheran and he adopted her religion, which was a bit perplexing, since, I thought being a Catholic was, so important.
You can't make this stuff up!
I like to think we have evolved from the church's vice like grip, at least where my Dad's concerned. However, the reckoning for the church, is not here yet.
The Pope needs to take his show and go away.
Even my Dad has left him in the dust.
In memory of my grandmother O'Leary, I write her story, today. As she was never able to.
Also, testimony of my own abuse, which is nothing compared to the sexual abuse and murder the church has just begun to acknowledge.

I refuse to participate in this lavish, slavish nonsense about a MIC whore who got us into a war with Iraq, Syria, Libya and just yesterday in Yemen, there was another bombing of women and children, brought to you by Raytheon and our "Saudi-led coalition." 22 children dead, but the only headline we will see, will be the over the top funeral, for a man who could only grandstand and at the last minute vote to keep Obamacare in place, while he received only the finest healthcare.
Isn't it wonderful, he was married 38 years to his wife Cindy. Neither of them told the truth about their ages and only found out how old they were on their wedding day. This was waaaayyy before online dating, where lying is practically required. He met his wife while he was still married.
You just have to laugh,when they serve this guy up as a hero.

Thank God I don't have TV, because, I guess it will be a 31 gun salute or whatever will be served up, because appearances have to be kept up, while the MSM continues to normalize war and bombs and mass murder.

McCain went right along with the script of 9/11, voting to go to war, to take our rights away with the Patriot Act. Raking in millions from the MIC. Noone is going to guilt me into any kind of sympathy for him. It's a joke. A man who by any reasonable logic, after what he went through in Vietnam, you would think, he would be an ambassador for peace.
But no, he just doubled down on war and bombs and bloodshed.
It continues until this very day. What a "Gamechanger" it would have been, to see him put an end to American aggression, instead he was the epitome of it.
That is his legacy.
We have to stop this blind worship of these wretched imbeciles, willing to bomb innocent people and spill innocent blood worldwide. It's sickening. It makes no sense.
For the people so hell bent on "resisting" Trump. We also need to resist war.
Because that is our American legacy.
Maybe Lockheed Martin will miss him, he won't be missed by me, or the millions who have lost a family member, due to American misadventures worldwide, when McCain could have done something to stop it. Insead he went in lockstep, marching to more war, sacrificing Americans and innocent people who had no fight with us.

Today, I am celebrating my 60th birthday. I have had a lovely summer.
However, someone else hasn't. When I finally got time yesterday, (because, I am busy now harvesting elderberries), I checked the papers.
Manafort guilty on 8 counts and Michael Cohen pleads guilty.
Just to be clear and give some context about events today, I grew up during the 60's & 70's, the JFK assassination and many more after him. The Vietnam War, Nixon and Watergate.
I am not one of those people with no memory.
Some just shrug their shoulders and look helpless trying to find a reason why they voted for Trump. Then there's the real delusional one's that think he's making America great again or he's draining the swamp. If they aren't tech challenged, they run to 4chan to read the latest psyop called Q. (I can't tell you how many people ask me about this)
How do you reason with people who feel so strongly about Trump?
They think their feelings are facts.
Lot's of my friends voted for him. Most of them don't have anything to say, except he's better than Obama or Crooked Hillary.
They tell me Crooked Donald is a businessman and his wife is a super model. I just have to laugh.
What can you do with people who don't pay attention, who believe everything that Fox News says?
Now, just to contrast this time with the cauldron I grew up in, with Watergate, Spiro Agnew's resignation, in 1973, on a felony charge of tax evasion. (there was also evidence of kickbacks, conspiracy, bribery and tax fraud) I never heard anyone defend Agnew. But Nixon had plenty of supporters to the bitter end. Goldwater and Rhodes told Nixon he was doomed. (I wonder if anyone has said that to Trump?)
The next day Nixon resigned. So this will, of course, be one option for Trump.
He'll probably tweet it if he does.
The event I can really compare this time to the 70's, is the Vietnam War. There were a lot of people protesting. But the majority, were completely clueless and bought into the whole "Domino Theory." It's also reminiscent of WMD's and the war on terror with Iraq and Afghanistan, no one even knows we are still there. No one ever talks about it. These must be the people who voted for Trump.
The thing is, we are still at war, we have set the Middle East on fire and there are no protests.
One of my best friends is in the army, he voted for Trump, he wants to deploy.
Our economy is a war economy and Trump is a weapons and armaments salesman. That's what people voted for, but I doubt they realize that. (the lobbies are in charge)
It wouldn't surprise me, if Trump decided to invade Iran, to distract from his own indictments.
It also wouldn't surprise me if Fox & Friends and all Trump's voters went along with it.
This is where we are. There is no leadership, and there isn't going to be. No one in the GOP, is doing anything but resigning. Anyone who doesn't like what Trump is doing, is just quietly walking away.
This is really the only option for dealing with a psychopath. Giving them attention is what they want. So for the most part, I just don't.
I spend my time learning about my environment and identifying the herbs and fruit that grows all around me. Saint John's Wort, Elderberries. Indian Tobacco and Sassafrass.
It's way more productive than being sucked into a tornado of tweets.
Who has time to pay attention to this orange idiot? I wouldn't give him the time of day if I met him on the street.
I am like that with all politicians though, Trump is just more annoying.
Trump would not have been possible, if it wasn't for the fact that no one has been accountable in government for a very long time. John Edwards was indicted on felony charges of using campaign funds to cover up an extra marital affair. Sound familiar? This just resulted in a mistrial, destroyed his career, but at least he had the decency to go away. I doubt very much Trump will do it. We already know he paid off two women, through Cohen and I imagine, whoever voted for Trump thinks it's cool he slept with porn stars, paid them off and lied about it. I mean, who even wants to be around people who think like that? I don't.
I was lucky enough to retire two years ago. I spend my time painting, wildcrafting and making all kinds of things like soap and candles. All the things I didn't have time for, when I was a single mother, trying to raise my kids. I realize, I am one of the lucky ones, since I am not in debt and I could retire early.
I am enjoying my life now, I will be travelling soon.
Paying attention to a desperate and I suspect, a dementia patient, is such a waste of time.

It is really hard to believe what is going on in this crazy country. Suddenly people care about THE CHILDREN. We have a history of separating children from parents since slavery, we did it to Native Americans, it's nothing new. We drone them in the Middle East and starve them in Yemen. The US only care's about children until they are born, so they can deny women access to birth control and abortion.
The legislation just signed means that the children won't be separated from the parents until their case is processed. They will then be charged with the crime of illegal entry and be separated. It's not going to stop. As long as TPTB can continue fooling people, like they just did with this nothing legislation, these issues will just go into the memory hole. Notice who get's separated in this country I once knew someone who bragged that he snuck into this country from the Canadian border, He told me the only reason he married his wife was for a green card. He got it too. He was white. Canada, just legalised marijuana for recreational use, I doubt it will ever happen here, they have single payer healthcare too, but I digress. The reason we won't have legal weed here, is so we can continue to bust people and put them in prison, separating children from parents, it's a moneymaker for the prison systems, especially private ones which I have blogged about. Just looking at Trump molesting that flag says it all. People love him, they have no ability to think critically, they watch Youtube, they don't read. They work crap jobs for low wages and have no idea what these immigrants are running from and why with our empire of interfering in Central American countries. Most Americans have no idea of the context of why these people are fleeing countries our government has destroyed. In a few days, we'll have moved on to the next manufactured crisis. This was entirely predictable, it will continue, while this country continues to devolve into the kind of chaos that happens when everything degrades into a tribal nervous breakdown. Waiting for their savior, Trump, to lead them out of the darkness. What he's going to do is take them down with him, while they cheer him on. It's sickening, but predictable. It's at the point now where the barbarians are inside the gate. They are us.
