Who's Next?

I'd like to say congratulations, now you are out of the dreadful TTIP. The EU is so angry they want negotiations right now to Brexit you faster! First, they didn't want you to go, now they can't wait to kick you out!
I didn't write much about the Brexet referendum, except for when Obama made a jackass out of himself by telling you you're all going to have to go the back of the queue. He was really worried about himself and the TTIP. I read all the scaremongering and fearporn the politicians were pulling out of their asses. I saw Jeremy Corbyn and pull a switcheroo to remain (I thought he wasn't an EU fan), WTF?
It's just so damn predictable the way these elected officials act. Cameron resigned, but not until October, maybe he'll be able to pull off another referendum, in case they can scare you into believing you didn't really want to break up with the EU. Maybe the next Prime Minister will be Boris or some other flunky that will go along with whoever pays them the most to do what the EU wants. Stay far away from that unless you want a deal like Obama wants. A world wide corporate takeover. Hopefully this puts the brakes on the TTIP,
I was surprised Cameron allowed a referendum in the first place, I guess he's never heard of blowback.
I am sure there's going to be a lot of scare tactics in the future, about how it was a big mistake.
The stock market dropped 600 points on this side of the pond and I could give a rats ass. Probably on Monday there will be more economic bad news but really, there was bad news anyway, you shook up the status quo and they couldn't keep the market under control anymore. I wonder, if the EU was such a great deal, if it had improved peoples lives so much, who would have voted to leave? Stay strong, you give me hope. You've been through a lot, take a break and go to the pub for a drink, you earned it!

Packing Heat

Photo NPR
So this is happening, and I doubt anything is going to change. Change? That's a bunch of promises that never seems to happen. It's not supposed to happen. This is a lot of theater. There's not going to be any meaningful change. But it sure makes for a great photo opportunity. America's corporate takeover is not only accepted, it's been approved at every level. The NRA is in charge. We are a nation created by violence and genocide. We don't acknowledge that, however, Native Americans live with the consequences every day.
Now we are a nation that's imploding. The U.S. is so corrupt, so riddled with dysfunction that the shooter in Orlando was interviewed by the FBI and worked for a global corporate "mercenary firm" as a security guard, but they didn't bother with a background check and the FBI gave up investigating him. Ask yourself why? Ask why, we have all this spying on our phone calls and text messages if they can't stop these kinds of events?
Donald Trump said "wouldn't it have been beautiful" if one of the clubgoers that night had a gun and started a shoot out. Trained police officers were told not to do anything but hold their position because in all that chaos, they couldn't figure out what was going on. So I guess that means we go back to having the bartender keeping a weapon under the bar, like the good old days. I would really like to know what has changed? Gun violence probably hasn't changed much since the Wild West. In America 297 people are shot a day.
With this amount of carnage the question that needs to be asked; why nothing is done about it? Our leaders are hypocrites and murderers. They start wars based on lies, then turn around and endorse a clown like Donald Trump, but really, what's the difference between him and George Bush? The other candidate being rammed down our throat; Hillary, has as much blood on her hands as anyone else, colluding with, and taking money from Saudi royals. Now, if you still think that voting is some kind of choice, have fun with that. These people are all for Wall Street, it's a joke.
Ask yourself why, this is what we are offered, these corrupt people? These people won't change anything. They are a part of the system and part of the problem. They are meant to continue the status quo. Ask yourself who benefits from keeping things in this country the same? Here's a hint; it ain't you and me! So if you like to vote for corporations, keep voting. For all I know that's the next place someone's going to show up and start shooting, at the polling place. Of course, it already happened back in 2013, someone showed up with a gun in a polling place. Lucky for me, I'll be far away from a voting booth when this joke of an election goes down.

Clinton Coronation

It's ok folks, nothing to see here, Hillary won, so everyone can just go home. Just do what you're told and there won't be any trouble. The media has decided the election is over. This is what we are being spoonfed, we saw it in Nevada, we saw it in Iowa. Superdelegates have decided, even though no Superdelegates have voted yet, the American voter, doesn't decide.
Your choice is Hillary or Trump, what kind of choice is that?. What's the difference between these two that travel in the same circles and use the same tax haven loopholes
Superdelegates do not vote until July 25th. Will Hillary be under indictment by then? How many Bernie supporters will actually vote for Hillary? Not that it matters. These young voters wanted to see genuine change, I am not sure Bernie could have followed through with that, but they damn sure know they won't get it with Hillary. There is nothing "democratic" about the Democrat Party, the Superdelegates will finally make good on their devils bargain and vote for Clinton. Chris Hedges is already calling to shut down the convention in Philadelphia, my home town. I fear that there is going to be a lot of unrest when the people who thought they would get some kind of fair election will see the Clinton coronation. Chris Hedges explains how much the cost is to attend the convention, while the "little people" can just dodge the cops or stay home, it's not for us, it's for "them" and don't try and tell me Trump isn't one of "them" either. I wonder if the Democratic Party isn't making a big mistake, I don't know anyone who wanted to vote for Hillary, but I know plenty who will vote for Trump, now I wonder how many will vote for Trump since they can't stomach Hillary, the candidate who has been shoved down our throats.
                                                  Here's your choice!

War; The Next Unemployment Program

I have been blogging for a long time about the "recovery" now it seems like the news is catching up with me, since the economy only added 38,000 jobs last month and March and Aprils numbers have been "adjusted" as usual. We have been told that happy days are here again. Does anyone really still believe the happy talk coming from government sources? We have a big unemployment problem.
We have a big mouth who's running for president and you can take your pick whether that's Hillary or Trump, but it's what's going on behind the scenes that is scary.
Map of the future provided by US Army
We are building up in the Eastern bloc of Europe with missiles and troops in Estonia and Latvia. When times are tough, the tough go to war. We know about Hillary and donations she receives from defense contractors and arms deals she oversaw to the Saudi's who are financial backers of her Clinton Foundation employment program for her daughter and her son-in-law who was a Goldman Sachs hedge fund fail that regularly conducted all types of events and meetings with Goldman and The Clinton Foundation. It is ironic to me that she thinks Trump will take us to war, when she herself profits from defense contracts.
The economy's in the toilet and we are heading towards another cold or hot war with Russia. We are after the man who bombed the crap out of ISIS in Syria.
Think about the last time the US got involved in a war and won.
Since the beginning of the year and the slide of the price of oil, the US is in an energy industry collapse. Our dollar is a petrodollar. it is tied to the price of oil. Almost every war we have fought since WWII has been an oil campaign of some sort or another. (Vietnam War was a proxy war and our last war with an actual draft.)
Trumps finances are a mixed bag he's got holdings with Royal Dutch Shell and has stock in all the big banks including Goldman-Sachs. Trump has actually said we spend too much money on defense. Bernie Sanders is an outspoken critic of war, unless it's defense contracts in his state, "Vermont could lose a lot of jobs if the F-35 disappeared. Sanders persuaded the jet’s manufacturer to put a research center in Vermont and bring 18 jets to the state National Guard."
Trump may say we spend too much on defense, but he may well get onto office and do nothing about it. Obama hasn't done anything about military spending. The lobbies and defense contractors strangle hold on elected officials seems unbreakable.
The Middle Class is "no longer in the majority" the poor are getting poorer and our real unemployment figures are closer to 23%
Still we are fed a diet of "recovery" and "it's coming back" and maybe it will, hopefully without another war.
What will happen to all the high school and college graduates flooding the market this month? Most people are angrier about a child in a gorilla pit, than the damage that has been ongoing under their noses. If there is another bubble that breaks, lets say from the auto credit industry,  maybe the stock market crashes again? http://money.cnn.com/2016/04/06/investing/earnings-recession-profits-down-stocks-oil-crash/
Will the next president get handed another mess like the last one we've supposedly recovered from?
